Due to the recent release of the licensed Malcolm Reynolds Browncoat, AbbyShot has received some exciting media attention from Canadian newspaper the National Post.

Writer Burke Campbell interviewed AbbyShot President Bonnie Cook a few months back to get a general overview about the company, then once he heard about our new Browncoat release he had to come back for another look!

“Now, AbbyShot Clothiers has announced a licensing agreement with Hollywood’s Universal Pictures to create apparel based on the Browncoat, pictured, worn in Serenity, a film adaptation of Joss Whedon’s TV series Firefly, with full endorsement from the creators. Tricia Chaves, senior director, licensing at Universal Partnerships & Licensing says, “After meeting with Ms. Cook and her team, and reviewing AbbyShot’s previous designs, we knew fans would be completely satisfied with this partnership.”
