If you were in Portland, Oregon on the weekend of March 18-20th, hopefully you were lucky enough to have checked out The West Coast Movie and TV Theme Car Championships. It was an amazing show that actually set a new US record for the most movie and TV cars at one event! There were 36 in total, including the Red XA Bat from Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior and of course the infamous black Interceptor from Mad Max.

AbbyShot affiliate Mad Max Cars attended the event and showed off some very fitting AbbyShot gear. The Max Jacket, Max Gloves and Max Badges never looked so good!

Some of the other ‘Starcars’ being shown were: The 1966 era Batmobile, the official WB promotional ‘Supernatural‘ car, a ZOMBIELAND H2 Humvee, Herbie the Love Bug, Scooby Doo’s Mystery Machine, the 2 Fast 2 Furious Yenko, the new version of Eleanor from Gone in 60 Seconds, Bumblebee from the Transformers movies, The Nova and Mustang from Quentin Tarantino’s Death Proof, and tons more!

Not only were there awesome cars at this event, but also some really cool costumes, as you can see. Check out those Batman costumes!

It’ll be hard to top this year’s event, so next year’s will surely be one you don’t want to miss! You can see the full report on the 2011 event on the Mad Max Cars website.
