Yesterday was a momentous occasion. For eight years, you have been supporting us and making it possible for us to strive for screen-accurate, high quality clothing based on your favorite media. You have told us your stories, how much you love what you have received from us, how excited you were when you opened a box with our label on it, and how everyday feels exciting when you wear one of our products. It’s because of you that we’ve been able to provide comfortable and wearable movie replica apparel, and it is to you we extend our thanks (and a special offer below) on our 8th birthday!

It’s this time of year that we look back on what AbbyShot was and where we are now. In 2002, we started out by making coats based on the popular “Matrix” franchise, and your response was massively supportive, so we expanded our line. It is because of your worldwide support that we now ship to over 40 countries around the globe! Over the years we’ve improved our techniques to better provide high quality, screen-accurate clothing. Instead of producing patterns by hand, we are now using a 3D CAD system in order to provide every inch of accurate detail that fans love worldwide. You helped us do our best, and it shows in the quality and workmanship of our products to this very day.

Customers remain satisfied years after they buy their AbbyShot apparel.  We are told numerous times a day that we excel at making sure you feel good about what you are buying. We know this by the emails you send, telling us how good our customer service is. We love receiving your emails with pictures and stories you want to share with us, and every single one makes us feel good about what we do. Custom-Fitted for You? Order by June 20th! 7 Jun 2010

Did you know that AbbyShot Clothiers began by creating custom coats? That's right. We began by creating a Matrix style coat eight years ago. And while our company has expanded and we've added a hoodie line, were you aware that many of our coats can still be custom made? Many of us simply do not fit into set-size coats. Any of the coats seen in this entry are available for custom ordering, as well as all of our gloves. Yes, indeed. At AbbyShot we know that you want for yourself the very best in fit and quality and we aim to please. If you are happy, we are too! So, if you know you aren't able to fit into a standard size, but are dying to own one of these coats, then by all means, go to the page with the appropriate product and send us your measurements according to the size chart.

Custom orders take approximately six to eight weeks to arrive, and we like to double check your measurements just to be sure that you get exactly the right fit. I have to say that there is nothing quite like a coat that is made to fit just you and you alone! It's akin to a homecoming of sorts.

We don't have a set time for custom orders, but we generally collect them over a period of several weeks and then do a batch of them together, generally one every three to four months. If you want your coat for a con later this summer (Dragon*Con, for example) then this would be the time to order your coat now, as the later fall batch will arrive shortly before Christmas. So, even though we've barely touched the warm weather (those of us in the northern hemisphere at least), you may have to think in terms of what your needs are for the fall if you'd like a custom coat!

Please feel free to ask us any questions you may have. Simply shoot us off an email and we'll respond with an answer as soon as we can (generally within 12-24 hours). So why not treat yourself? Better still, be treated to a custom coat by someone else! Our deadline for this order is June 20th (Father's Day!!!)
