”I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. A trench coat so perfect and flawless you gotta have it…” That’s not quite what Rutger Hauer says just before he kicks the virtual bucket. But now that the Abbyshot Deckard Trench is out, maybe it will show up in another Director’s Cut! AbbyShot has faithfully captured the futuristic style of this iconic trench coat in a garment that can stand up to all your daily (or nightly) adventures!
AbbyShot connected with fans like never before to ensure that ALL details of this trench coat were reproduced accurately. The results certainly show it, as you can tell from the amazing BR fan reaction (see our Reviews Tab for more)! The collar hangs just like the film, the fabric wrinkles and reacts to water the same way, even the stitching on the pockets is perfect! There's simply no better Deckard trench coat in today’s universe – or tomorrow’s.
Here's What The Media is Saying...
So really what we're talking about here is a replica of Rick Deckard's coat as seen in the film Blade Runner, but we're also talking about a spectacular replica.
Film replicas are often models, delicately made and meant to be looked at. This is a replica meant to be worn like the original.

You Have, Frankly, Enriched My Life.
The night settled in around me. Crystalline drops of rain were suspended in the air in the glow of the giant plasma screens. Wrapped in my trenchcoat, impervious to the overwhelming conformity surrounding me, I raise my eyes to the glowing skies and thank whatever deity is up there for Abbyshot. There are magicians. It's not just about the craftmanship (which is magnificent, I should know I have Saville row suits) it's about the ideal of the sudden and spectacular interruption of the fantastic into the mundane reality of everyday life. You guys do that. You have, frankly, enriched my life. Thank you.

I Love This Coat!
It's an amazing piece of work and I'm more than happy with it. I wore it
to work and the compliments were immediate (one of the women I work with even asked me about it a few days later by referring to it as my "beautiful coat").
The color, the cut, the drape, the fit, the weight: ALL perfect. The long wait for this coat, as it turns out, HAS been worth it.
As you're well aware, some Blade Runner Fans have, for some time now, debated about the collar on your coat. Having looked again and again at the DVD on Blu-Ray I'm convinced that YOUR Collar is "closer than MOST"... I think a lot of BR Fans "Remember it" bigger & bolder than what it actually was... I've been guilty of this myself. There ARE, in fact, some OTHER tailors and seamstresses (some of whom are your competitors) who make their OWN version of the Blade Runner Coat that many believe to be CLOSER in similarity to the coat used in the movie...
But frankly, I think they're WRONG.
If you ever see some of the owners of those other versions of the Deckard
Trench Coat actually WEARING them you'll see grown men who look like kids
wearing their Father's clothes! LARGE, heavy, ribbed collars on HUMONGOUS coats that look heavy and stiff -
more like those Waxed Australian Outback Slickers (and actually look like
even if the wearer were to faint and drop to the floor, the jacket would
keep standing up on its own!)
So, again for the record:
I think the AbbyShot Clothiers Coat's Collar (try saying that five times,
FAST) is MUCH, MUCH closer in look, feel & weight.
I love this coat!
Thanks again for all your great help and communication with me. EXCELLENT customer service.

It's an Awesome Piece of Work.
I wanted to let you know I got the coat in the mail. Fantastic job by the way on packing. My wife was certain you had sent the wrong item until I opened it. She thought there was no way a long coat could fit inside that tiny box. After I opened the top I was waiting for it to spring out of there because it was sooo compressed - like a trick snake.
I have to say, it's an awesome piece of work. You guys did a great job. I'm glad I went with the 38" because there is plenty of room. It fits well in the shoulders, chest and the length. My wife was very impressed.
Can't say it enough. Thanks very much, it was well worth the wait.
It was raining, again. I was reeling and peeling, dodging and weaving over slick reflective pavements through the city heading towards my designated destination. Music was in the air, adverts and smoke in my eyes. Overhead the sky was full of lights, the airliners lined up waiting to land and disgorge the latest bunch of thrill seekers into the metropolis. I eyed the crowds around me - Piccadilly punks, confused Japanese tourists and the occasional harassed office drone, just like anywhere else. I didn’t have to look hard to find replicants. I raised the collar of my Deckard trench coat against the rain and caught a glimpse of myself in a window, of the sneaked looks and the open stares at me from passers by. I smiled at my reflection. It was back in style to be stylish.
Thanks, Abbyshot.

A Hybrid of The 1930´s and The 2030´s!
Hello Abbyshot,
The design is as you have promised updated and stunning. I think you have captured all of the features seen on the coat that is used in Bladerunner. The fabric is smooth and wrinkles easily, and it looks great! The colour of the fabric is very interesting because it looks both dark and light brown depending on the surroundings and lighting conditions. I would say that it feels and looks like a 1930´s coat, but is like something from the 2030's. In other words, awesome.
Thanks to all of you at Abbyshot. I wish to express my gratitude for making this beautiful coat. I didn´t want to buy it because it is a replica of the one used in Bladerunner, but because I loved the look and design of the coat itself. You have made a wonderful trench, hats off for you guys & girls.
Cheers,
Gustav
Looks Just Stunning
The coat is wonderful. I think the workmanship is first-rate. It feels
terrific and looks just stunning. The best part to me is that it is so
wearable. I don't want it just for a display, I want to wear it and there is
no question that this is a fully functional coat; not some costume. You are a class act and it was well worth the wait.

One of the best clothing purchases I have ever made
My Abbyshot Deckard V2.0 trench coat just arrived this afternoon, and I was speechless when I opened it! Not only is it a beautiful and faithful rendition of the original movie version--a work of art--it is a marvelous garment in its own right. The weight of the garment, the cut and feel of the cloth, the quality of the workmanship--not to mention the bargain price--make it one of the best clothing purchases I have ever made.

Awesome, looks just like the film, what a display piece!
The wait was worth it. This coat is awesome. The color, the details and the fabric combine to make a garment that looks just like the one in the film. What a display piece!

Impressed with the workmanship and attention to detail
Hi. I received the Deckard Tuesday, but decided to wait to 'unveil' it at a friend's house last Friday nite. As a fellow BR fan, he and I were both impressed with the workmanship style and your attention to detail. We both felt the color was much better than we had expected. He had taken a wait-and-see attitude, but I think he may now be sold, so you might have another customer as well!
