Zoe Vest is Released!

The Zoe Vest is now available! We've released it in five sizes: Extra-Small, Small, Medium, Large, and Extra-Large. This design also features adjustable side straps for even further fitting adjustment! This lined vest is made in the supple Nozanno Pebbled Leather and is lovely to wear. So in our March 2005 Newsletter we asked if people wanted us to develop the vest worn by Zoe on Firefly..., Whoa! What a response we received! Talk about opening the floodgates!! Okay, so there's a "tiny" bit of a demand for this one!! :-) Since we're likely to get lynch-mobbed if we DON'T make this one, we decided to move quickly on it. After all, we know that there's a certain movie release coming up where a lot of people will be wanting to wear this item! ;-)

When we release this vest, it will be made in both brown and black genuine leather. It will also be available in a range of sizes, plus the side straps will allow the vest to be further adjusted to fit your specific body type. The prototype shown here is made from a brown pleather fabric and does not yet have the buckled side straps that we'll be using. We'll be releasing updated photos as we approach the release date.

So, the only questions left are when and how much! Well, we're hoping to release it in mid to late May or early June 2005 at the latest. This is deliberately intended to coincide with the release of the Serenity Browncoat. As for price, we're not completely certain of that just yet since it is still under development, however we're hoping for a $200 to $300 USD target price. Once we know what the price will actually be, we'll announce it here and in our newsletter.

A Question For The Serenity Fans

The vest that the character Zoe wears in "Firefly" has received some interest as well. We're not sure if there's enough interest to justify developing it though. So, we're throwing it out to the Firefly/Browncoat/Serenity fan community. Do you like this? Do you think that AbbyShot should develop this into a new product? Contact us with your opinion!
