AbbyShot is pleased to announce the release of the Rocketeer Jacket and it's little brother the Jet Jacket. Both of these leather jackets are inspired by the jacket worn in the movie "The Rocketeer" and both are made to AbbyShot's incomparably high standards of quality. The only difference is that the Rocketeer Jacket is 100% screen-accurate, while the Jet Jacket is a more streamlined version that captures the basic design without some of the more detailed features from the movie. We expect both of these jackets to quickly become very popular among Rocketeer fans and motorcyclists alike, so now's your chance to get this before the demand goes sky high!

The Rocketeer Jacket is almost here! The release version of the Sienna Sand leather is here and we have the photoshoot coat sewn. We're going to have the photoshoot done soon and then it will be available for purchase!

We'll be releasing the Rocketeer Jacket in two versions. There will be a premium screen-accurate edition which will have every feature and every detail reproduced as faithfully as possible. The other version will be called the Jet Jacket. This has all the same structural stylings as the premium Rocketeer Jacket, but omiting some of the more technically involved design details. This is a more streamlined version designed for people who appreciate the basic look of the Rocketeer Jacket, but don't require every screen-accurate detail. Both the Rocketeer Jacket and the Jet Jacket will be available in black leather as well as the brown Sienna Sand leather, and both versions can be ordered with or without the front flight panel.

Rocketeer Continues to Approach

We warned everyone that the Rocketeer was coming quickly and we weren't kidding! Since announcing it in December, we've come a long way past that first prototype. We've been busily working away, gathering names of interested people, listening to comments and suggestions in emails and on our forum, and have further refined the design to bring it ever closer in screen accuracy, while maintaining the utmost in wearability. Many people are excited to wear this garment, whether as part of a costume, for wearing on their motorcycle, or just as their next favourite leather jacket! Here at AbbyShot we are at the final pre-release stages, literally counting down the days. This article was almost a "Rocketeer Released!" piece. We will be sending out a special notice to let everyone know when it will be available for purchase. This is a jacket that we've been keeping a tight lid on until quite recently. We know that there are a lot of people who really want to see this design become a reality. So until we were 100% certain that it was going to become a future AbbyShot product and soon, we didn't want to unduely raise any hopes.

Of course the good news is that we ARE going to be making this garment! As you can see, the prototype is very screen-accurate and already that version of the pattern has been adjusted to further refine it for both accuracy and ease of construction. We have the new Sienna Sand Leather that will be used for it, although it will be available in Black Soft Touch Leather as well for those who simply like the design itself and don't want brown. The lining is a quilted lining that matches the look of the movie version. The buttons have been specially commissioned for AbbyShot to recreate their unique look. Every effort has been taken to ensure that this newest product will conform to our obsessively high standards of quality and screen accuracy.

We don't have a specific release date or pricing available just yet, but we expect that this product will be released very early in the new year. As we have more details we will be announcing them in our newsletter and here in the Rocketeer Jacket Coming Soon Page. Our next step is to make another prototype in the production leather and sign off on the design prior to having a photoshoot and releasing this as a new product! Many Rocketeer fans have been contacting us for details, plus this design is already generating excitement with bikers as a motorcycle jacket.
