Christmas Is Only 10 Weeks Away!
That's right, it's sooner than you think!  Before you realize it you'll be trimming the tree, decking the halls, and nogging the egg!  Do you plan on having a new AbbyShot coat this Christmas?  Of course you do!  Don't forget to budget time for it to be made and sent to you!  It sure would be easier if you had a date to go by... an absolute limit on when you could order and still expect to receive your coat in time.  Why look here, it's the AbbyShot Pre-Christmas Deadline!!  How convenient!

Place Your Orders Before November 12th!
Deckard News Keeps Coming In!
Blade Runner is making the news everywhere these days. The upcoming Blade Runner: Final Cut is hitting DVD stores on December 18th, but it's making the rounds at film festivals right now. Oh to see Blade Runner on the big screen - obviously it's been attracting crowds! This review from Aint-It-Cool-News even mentions a few fans clad in Deckard trench coats waiting in line for the screening in New York City!

Were there any AbbyShot customers among them? You KNOW you've got to e-mail us if you were there sporting an AbbyShot Deckard coat!

We've also got some great new fans of our
Deckard Version 2.0 Trench to tell you about. The first is famed
author Peter David, best-known for his many wonderful Star Trek novels. We were lucky enough to meet him at Dragon*Con 2007, where he loved our Deckard Version 2.0. Check it out on his
blog at PeterDavid.net!

Last but not least, customer Dan from Atlanta gave us a glowing Deckard V2.0 review on our AbbyShot voicemail just before Dragon*Con, and he was gracious enough to let us share it with you! Have a listen on our
Deckard Version 2.0 Reviews Page!

Halloween Sale Is Over!
The results are in from our Hallowen Promotion and there is a clear customer favourite.  Not all of our unlined designs were popular with fans, but the Enigma Unlined was definitely prominent, being ordered 4 times more than any other unlined design.  In light of such a focused customer response, we'll be keeping the Enigma Unlined and saying good bye to all the others.  Not to worry though, we are completing all existing orders.
Customer Sends A G-I-G Shrug Review
A little while ago we had an interesting request from a customer.  He wanted to buy a G-I-G Shrug and present it as a surprise gift to the English language voice actor for the Ghost In The Shell animated TV series.  We thought that this was a great idea!  Read the Customer G-I-G Shrug Surprise Gift post in our blog for details on how his plans went...
Halloween Recipe
In light of the upcoming holiday, we're including a fun little recipe from our Production Manager.  She swears by this recipe as making a real tasty treat!

This is fun snack to eat while carving your Halloween pumpkin!

You will need:roasted pumpkin seeds
  • 1 Pumpkin
  • 1 Spoon
  • 1 Baking Sheet
  • Parchment paper (Optional)
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt

You will get:
  • Messy hands :-)
  • Delicious Roasted Pumpkin Seeds!

Directions:
  • Scoop out the insides out of your pumpkin
  • Rinse the seeds
  • Toss the seeds in olive oil (or your favorite oil)
  • Spread onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (parchment paper makes cleaning easier)
  • Shake desired amount of salt over the seeds
  • Bake in the oven at 350 degrees Celsius (662 Farenheit), turning occasionally. Take them out when the seeds look slightly browned.
  • Enjoy!
This issue is like the eye of the storm for AbbyShot news.  We have a brief lull in activity in comparison to August and September, but we can see a lot more things soon to occur.  We're heading towards Christmas, and we still have more surprises up our sleeves for the coming months.  Don't forget about our November 12th Christmas deadline either!  Don't let YOUR order be the one that arrives too late.  Until next month...

Sincerely,

Adam
