Last month we brought back the Malcolm Reynolds Browncoat and the reaction from fans of the Serenity / Firefly 'Verse was nothing less than "SHINY"!
There was much love for the new-and-improved officially licensed Browncoat, the  RealBrowncoats.com website, and of course (as one clever fan dubbed it on our Facebook Page) the Big Damn Trivia Quiz! 82 tough questions about the Serenity 'Verse - only the most "cunning" have gotten through it! ;)

 For those in the U.S. especially, tomorrow is a big day - Black Friday! It's the States' biggest shopping day of the year and a few AbbyShot fans have asked us: are you going to do anything for Black Friday?Well... that would be telling ;) All we can say for now is: Keep an eye on our AbbyShot website TOMORROW, Friday November 27th, 2009. Road Warrior Weekend: Were You Lucky Enough to Be There?

The biggest Mad Max event EVER was held this past weekend and we're wondering: were any AbbyShot fans in attendance? Called the "Road Warrior Weekend Event", this three-day adventure was a true mecca for all things Mad Max! No mere hotel or convention hall can hold Mad  Max fans - this party was held - where else? - deep in the Wasteland! More specifically, fans made the trek to the desert about 2 hours drive from Los Angeles, California. From the write-up we read on the LA Weekly Blog, it sounds like this was an amazingly good time. We're still waiting on word from our friends at Mad Max Cars who were in attendance (we hope they didn't run out of guzzoline on the way back!) so in the meantime - were there any Newsletter readers lucky enough to attend? "Browncoats" Fan Film: Now with Teaser Trailer!

Regular Newsletter readers might remember this cool story: there's a new film coming out next year set in the Firefly / Serenity 'Verse! First mentioned in our April 2009 issue, this film is called "Browncoats: Redemption" and is a production for fans, by fans made to raise money for charity. As they say in the tagline on their website: "Charity has never been this exciting!"Now there's even more to get excited about: the film now has a slick teaser trailer introducing Redemption's crew! Check it out on the Browncoats: Redemption website and be sure to send them your own video declaring that you're a Browncoat - you could be on the site and the DVD too! Speaking of being on the DVD, did we mention there's an AbbyShot Browncoat in the film? We'll be keeping you updated on this one for sure, stay tuned... |

 The customer emails this month are from fans that are truly fearless and bold. We couldn't help but smile when we saw these pictures! The first customer email comes all the way from Outer Heaven. Solidus really put the Foxhound Coat to the test! "It has been tested and found to excel in every way." What more can you ask for in a coat? ;) The second customer email that we chose this month is from a couple in Germany who really make an impression! "All our friends and acquaintances were wowed, both by the Enigma and the G-I-G Shrug."Finally, we have a
customer who really loves his Squall Jacket: "The collar was amazing
looks so much more real then any other squall outfit I've seen." AbbyShot always aims to please!
