On November 23rd we released the Mobil Avenue. This three-quarter length suit jacket style of garment is quite appealing and cultured looking. This garment has the perfect combination of function and design for a night out to a special event, yet is comfortable enough to wear even casually as well. The ease with which the Mobil Ave. can be adapted to different situations is quite surprising, truly making this a garment for all occasions. We've even had customers tell us that they plan on wearing this to their weddings!

There are several features that make this garment stand out from our other products. This is the only item being offered in our Revolutions Wool, which is an exquisite medium weight wool that really sets it off and gives it a distinctive look and feel unlike any of our other products. Request your free fabric sample and see for yourself! This is also our first coat to feature an outside chest pocket. Other features are the two hip height welt pockets, your choice of inside breast pockets, and black or red satin lining. The tailored lines of this garment are very sleek and enhancing for the wearer. You're sure to look stylishly sophisticated when wearing the Mobil Ave.

The Alexander Trench is Released! A new Look Joins AbbyShot's Product Line

The signature trench worn by Alexander in the anime Hellsing is now available. This has been popularly requested since we first announced that we were going to be producing the Alucard trench, and the requests continued to come in after our Alucard trench was released. While this stylish trench won't make you into a vampire-killing regenerator for the Iscariot Organization, you will look the part! The simple lines and pseudo-clerical styling in the collar and the purple trim running down the front make this a garment that makes a definite statement. Our Alexander Trench is made from grey Commander with purple Commander trim and a striking silver Kasha lining. The design is available in both custom fitted and set size versions. We launched this product on November 17th and already we're getting great feedback on it. Here are a couple of comments we've read so far... "Nice, plain and simple. I like it very much. It's priced well too." ... "I like it. Honestly, I wasn't too keen on this design at first. at all. But really, seeing it finished and everything? That's a pretty great coat."

One question that has already been asked several times is about colour. People want to know if the Alexander is available in colours other than grey with purple trim. The most commonly requested colour is unsurprisingly black. We can certainly make this in black. Other people are interested in alternate trim colours other than purple. While this is possible, we do have to answer trim colour requests individually due to colour availability. One last question is regarding a closure. Some people want to know if it can be closed in some way. The Alexander can not be buttoned closed without redesigning the front of the coat, however we are able to use a zipper down the front. We've even sourced a purple zipper for those who go with the original Alexander colours! Email us directly or place your custom requests in the "Special Instructions" section of the Alexander Custom order form to receive a price quote on the hidden zippered closure. Under most circumstances alternate coat colours won't affect the Alexander price.

JRock Clothing Coming to AbbyShot!

We're keeping this one as a real surprise for everyone. We've seen the pre-release version of this design and have been totally amazed by it. Then the Design Team described what they wanted to do to further improve it for the upcoming photoshoot. It was at that point that we knew we couldn't show anything until it's actually released. We know that there's been a lot of buildup on this one and everyone is hungry for some details (any details!) to tide you over until it's in your hands, but just trust us on this one. Any visuals at this point would completely steal the thunder from the release - and thunderous it will be too! We know we always say we're excited about the release of a new garment, and it is true, every new product is like a mini-Christmas morning for us. However, this one has everyone jittery with excitement. We can't wait for the Malice Mizer to debut, and when you see the finished product you'll wonder yourself just how we managed to keep as quiet as we have! :-)

We have the return of the Stampede Jacket idea from last Fall. Recently, an independent poll was held by our customers on the AbbyShot forum. They took several of the designs that they had come up with and presented them to be ranked in terms of popularity. The clear winner in their poll was the following design created by forum member Fireseid. We're somewhat impressed by the idea ourselves and would like to know if there is more general interest amongst the entire AbbyShot newsletter readership. So what do you think of it? A recent customer comment on their Twill Enigma (paraphrased for length) went as follows:

"When I tried it on however, everything changed. The coat fit almost perfect, it had a feeling of comfort and cozy warmness that made it a dream to wear. When took my first step in the new coat it all spun in to movement, the beading and two strings flapped happily with every step and the skirt piece moved along pretty nicely. We often receive comments like this from our customers. It is quite an ego boost for us, but more importantly it highlights a very important aspect of an AbbyShot garment that isn't often focused on in our web site, and that is the way that wearing an AbbyShot makes you feel. We've come to learn that there is a certain "magic" in owning an AbbyShot that goes beyond the actual garment itself. We're happy for our customers that they feel this way!

To be able to instill such excitement and pleasure through the products we produce is a pleasant side effect of our attention to the three cornerstones of quality materials & construction, comfort of fit, and accuracy of design. By carefully balancing these three aspects we have managed to create something that is greater than the sum of its parts. It goes beyond a simple article of clothing and becomes something to enjoy the experience of owning and wearing, not just something you simply put on.

For us, we get such a sense of pride in knowing how many people there are out there who enjoy our clothing, especially when we read such positive comments like the one above! For our customers, they have the advantage of getting a coat which will be a treasured possession for years to come!
