A brand new AbbyShot website premiered on March 10th, 2008 and if you're one of the few who haven't seen it yet you need to check it out now!
To say that our new look and feel is getting great reviews would be an understatement. Here's just a sample of the feedback we've gotten in the last week:
The new website and the new look is amazing. The organization is outstanding and the professionalism is sleek. My sincerest congratulations on everything you've done in six years, and I hope you keep on making these phenomenal products for many long years to come.
Let YOUR voice be heard too, contact us with YOUR opinions on our new site! Great customer service is always our number one goal, so your feedback will help us to make the new website serve YOU better.
So what cool stuff DID hit the site over the Launch Week? We've added: There's guaranteed to be SOMETHING cool that you haven't seen yet. When you're done exploring, don't forget to pass the word along to your friends:

Winner of the "Bust-ing Out" Draw!
We would have loved to give everyone a pair of Matrix busts because they just look so cool! Sadly, only one lucky person can walk away with them. Neo and Trinity projecting up from the green matrix code, expertly detailed by Gentle Giant and generously provided for our launch celebrations by www.redplanettoys.com! If you haven't checked these guys out yet, then you're missing out on some incredibly detailed action figures, statues and of course: busts!
So, who won? After putting all the eligible entries into a hat, we drew JJ Logston! Congrats, JJ! Your prize will be on its way to you very soon! |

Who Gets To "Be Like Max"?
As if one draw for a prize wasn't enough, we had a second draw for our Launch Week. This one was for a MFP Badge car decal suitable for putting on your favourite muscle car!
This high quality car decal was supplied by madmaxcars.com, makers of the best kits for turning your Ford Falcon into a truly accurate Mad Max MFP Interceptor car. Again, this prize wouldn't have been possible without the sponsorship of the guys at MadMaxCars.com. Many of their customers also love our Max Jacket and we're constantly referring people to them. If you've been wanting to make the Mad Max car of your dreams, they're really the best place to go.
The lucky AbbyShot customer who is the newest owner of the MFP Badge car decal is Scott Mosconi! I hope your car is ready, cause this prize needs to move on down the highway! |

Thank You's Are In Order!
On Thursday of our Launch Week, we gave away sets of "Serenity Cash" with every Browncoat or Zoe Vest ordered. While this wasn't a specific drawing like the "Matrix Busts" or the "MFP Car Decal", it did help to make our Launch Week a success.
We'd like to thank Quantum Mechanix for their involvement and their enthusiasm to help us celebrate our new site!

AbbyShot Shaves for the Brave!
Two fearless members of the AbbyShot team, Mark and Kim, along with Kim's daughter Laura Jane, had their heads shaved as part of a fundraiser for cancer survivors. Two very special people close to us have recently been affected by this disease and the team decided to raise money (and lose hair!) in their honour.
This fundraiser was created by the organization RealTime Cancer as a way to show solidarity with the real "brave": those diagnosed with cancer. It's a great cause that AbbyShot didn't hesitate to support with a monetary donation, and we've found out that a grand total of over $91,000 has been raised this year!
Huge congratulations to everyone involved! |

The Making of AbbyShot's Originals!
Three original products hit the new site during the launch week, creating a lot of curiosity and excitement. What better way to dig deeper into these originals than to talk to Aimee, the designer herself!
We conducted a brief interview with Aimee all about her inspirations for each of these designs, whether one of the coats has a "Heroes" connection, and her thoughts on the future of AbbyShot's originals! It's a great new article on our blog now, so check it out! |
