Regular  Newsletter readers already know that the Eleventh Doctor's Jacket (from Series 6!) will be released this Fall. Of course, as soon as we let that piece of news out, many fans immediately asked: "Are you going to release the bow tie too?"
As an iconic part of the Eleventh Doctor's look, how could we say no? AbbyShot will also be releasing the Eleventh Doctor's Bow Tie in the deep burgundy colour the Doctor normally wears!

It's the Final Countdown for the Browncoat!

Ther e's something different about the Browncoat pages on the AbbyShot website. No, we didn't add a digital birthday cake for Joss Whedon (he celebrated his birthday in June). There's a real-time countdown happening set to a specific date: August 29, 2011 is the final day the Malcolm Reynolds Browncoat will be available from AbbyShot.com!
The timer on our site doesn't lie, there is indeed JUST over 2 months to order your very own limited edition Malcolm Reynolds Browncoat from AbbyShot. We highly recommend that you don't wait until the last minute to order yours though. There is a limited inventory of Browncoats remaining which means that certain sizes WILL sell out sooner than others. And once they're gone 'into the black'... they're really gone!

Dante Coat Final Photos Coming Next Month!
|
 A quick update for Dante fans: The photos you've been waiting for will be hitting your screens in July! Our final Dante coats in all four versions are 95% complete and that means our final photo shoot will be happening very soon! This is especially important for fans waiting for shots of the Red Leather and Black Pleather versions of the Dante Coat as official photos of these coats have not been released from AbbyShot as of yet! Soon you'll be seeing high quality detail shots of these final coats... and hopefully a few fun action shots too! ;)
For those who have already pre-ordered: Your new Dante Coats (or gloves!) will be shipping out within the 2 weeks or so! The wait is almost over...

Enter the AbbyShot Fashion Institute
|  There's a new blog series in town and it's all about style. AbbyShot's "geeky" side is well-known and documented (hey, we're not going to deny it!) so we thought that it's high time now to give our Design Team a bit more of the spotlight.
Every Thursday afternoon, the AbbyShot Designers will deliver another edition of the "AbbyShot Fashion Institute" to the Blog. These articles involve the design or style of AbbyShot clothing, with previous articles covering everything from the history of dusters to the benefits of pleather to frequently asked design questions! There's even one recent article that included a video showing how the AbbyShot designers sew on a button.
The AbbyShot designers have a wealth of knowledge to share so why not check out their blog posts and, of course, contact them if you have any design-related questions or future article ideas! |
| Cool Site of the Month: Mad Max Renegade Fan Film |
 It's a dangerous world out there, and only one man can "maintain right"! In this new fan film from director Paul Miller, audiences are given a sneak peek into the period in-between the original Mad Max and The Road Warrior, and let's just say that things looks as rough as ever in this post-apocalyptic world!
The Mad Max Renegade website gives you access to a fantastic-looking trailer that shows off the characters, the awesome cars (including a perfect replica of the famous Interceptor), and, last but not least, AbbyShot Mad Max Gear! We were so proud to see the AbbyShot Mad Max Jacket, Gloves, and Badges on display in this film. It's a great trailer that only leaves us wanting more!
The film should be premiering near the end of the summer, with more details to follow on the Mad Max Renegade website.

The Martha Jones Jacket back in the TARDIS... what more could you ask for? A recent customer took her new AbbyShot jacket on quite an adventure, visiting the Doctor Who Experience in London in full-on Martha Jones mode! She also included photos of her Martha Jones Companion Jacket styling next to a striking blue Police Box and defiant in front of the intimidating Pandorica!
This blog post is well worth a look but we must provide you a warning: It will make you want to pick up a new leather jacket!
