 It's June and the planet is consumed by an unstoppable and contagious fever. No, it's not the plot of a new "Outbreak" film: This is World Cup Fever! Even if you're not a huge sports fan, or your national team has been eliminated, or even if they never qualified in the first place (Canada hasn't been in the World Cup since 1986!), there's something inherently cool about an event that grabs the attention of the world for an entire month. While sports fans will be donning their soccer jerseys / football shirts to proudly show off their obsession, AbbyShot has a better idea! It's time for your clothing to show off a greater obsession: Your love of great sci-fi, films, and video games! And not to worry, your AbbyShot clothing will be just as amazing long after the World Cup is done. | AbbyShot Provides the Browncoats for CSTS! |
 AbbyShot just attended the Toronto "Can't Stop the Serenity" charity event (CSTS) held on June 26th and now we understand why the event has been going on for 5 years and counting: It's a blast! And for a great cause to boot. AbbyShot is proud to be an official Merchandise Sponsor for CSTS 2010. We teamed up with the organizers of the Toronto event to offer official Malcolm Reynolds Browncoats to sell through their CSTS group, with the profits going to the event's charity groups. AbbyShot team member Mark had the important task of delivering said Browncoats to their (delighted) new owners and yes, it was just as fun as it sounds! That's right, after a long hiatus from our site (and much demand from fans), we've decided to reboot our Custom coat listing with over 12 AbbyShot classics available to order in custom sizes for only $100 CAD above the set-size prices. These are the Cadillacs of the clothing world: AbbyShot garments tailored specifically to your measurements!

AbbyShot Affiliate News From Across Canada!
| This month we have a triple-header of news stories about AbbyShot affiliates: They're truly springing up all over Canada!
AbbyShot is always proud to announce new Affiliates and this month we have two new retail locations carrying AbbyShot products:
 1) The Calgary Stampede Store (in Calgary, Alberta of course) is located at the venue for "The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth". The Calgary Stampede features the world's largest rodeo and attracts over one million visitors per year! Their store in Stampede Park is now carrying the rugged Malcolm Reynolds Browncoats as well as the stylish Martha Jones Companion Jackets.
2) Michael Rodent's is the kind of store a collector dreams about! It's located in Winnipeg, Manitoba and carries a range of collectibles from Disney's Mickey Mouse to Lord of the Rings to Doctor Who. This shop has a sample of our Doctor Who Tenth Doctor's Coat in stock and is taking orders for all of our licensed products.
 Finally, we have some great news from one of our current Affiliates in Toronto:
The Silver Snail comic shop now has the Tenth Doctor's Coat, the Martha Jones Companion Jacket, and the Kingdom Hoodie in stock at their location in downtown Toronto! If you're in the Greater Toronto Area and want to see AbbyShot garments in person, this is the way to do it!

| Cool Site of the Month: The BBC's Doctor Who TARDIS Panoramic |
 The BBC has always had an awesome website for Doctor Who, but they've really kicked it up a notch this year. There are gadgets and widgets aplenty on the BBC's site and our current favourite is called the " TARDIS Panoramic". It's not only a way to explore the details of the new steampunk-styled TARDIS, but also a treasure trove of hidden hotspots showing rare "behind the scenes" details about Doctor Who. For example, one hotspot gives us access to a 1963 memo detailing the EARLY concept behind the series including wildly different ideas for the TARDIS itself! There's even more Doctor Who goodness after you're done inside the TARDIS. The BBC has also released the first 2 episodes of a Doctor Who adventure game, but only in the UK for the time being!
