First Round: Punisher Vs. Wolverine Movie
A further update on the Punisher Vs. Wolverine film "First Round" by Get Me Out Of Jersey Productions. In our last newsletter we told you all about how they were using our Lobby Trench in their film as the Punishers trenchcoat. Now, they've updated their web site and have posted more info. AbbyShot will be two years old on July 18th, 2004. This marks an important milestone in our company as we continue to grow and improve over time. We also fully realise that none of this would have been possible without the amazing support we have received from our loyal customers.
We've come to know many of you quite well and as a result of this we would like to give everyone an AbbyShot birthday gift. Abbyshot's Enigma Invades Akon 15

Armed with Keyblades, wigs and attitude AbbyShot forum members Rthx-X, Kakkoku, and Jigen were hanging out at Akon 15. These pictures were featured on the AS forum, as well as at Cosplay.com. This isn't the first time AbbyShot customers have visited Akon, last year James Bee was busy showing off his Stampede Duster at Akon 14.
Now that summer is upon us, Con season is in full effect. Otakon is just around the corner (July 30th to Aug 1) and Dragon*Con is only a few short weeks later (Sept 3-5). Abby has lots of plans for the summer, busily sketching out new designs such as our Alucard and Deckard trenchcoats and she's testing new materials, too. Keep your eyes peeled for a leather Stampede Duster and other twists on AbbyShot's designs.

Here's a sneak preview of what the design team is currently working on. What you are looking at is a "test sample", a simply sewn version of the garment to test the pattern design. We're progressing further on this garment design and hope to have even more news available throughout the months of June and July.
The released version will be available in both red and black. We will be offering the wide brimmed hat as an option, and we are even working with a reputable high-end glovemaker to possibly make available white leather gloves to go with it too!

It's amazing the difference that a couple of months can make. After more than a year of searching we now have two major suppliers of leathers. Several other potential leather suppliers have contacted us and sent samples our way. The three hides shown here are a black "pebbled" leather with a texture that has to be felt to be believed, an amazingly soft red leather, and an incredibly tough, croc-textured black leather. Click on the picture to see a close up view.
These leather hides represent just a small glimse of the variety of leathers now available to us. We have the equipment, we have the staff and now we have the materials. Over the next little while we will be making sample garments in leather. Soon we will release pricing and make leather versions of many of our products available. Those who are seriously interested in acquiring real leather versions of our garments should contact us for more details.
