Time keeps on slippin' into the future - we blinked and 2009 had arrived! Along with about 2 feet of snow for us here in Canada. We hope the winter is treating you well so far but if you're in need of awesome coats or hoodies - you've come to the right newsletter ;)

 The month of December saw Kingdom Hoodies flying out of AbbyShot headquarters faster than Santa's reindeer! AbbyShot Matrix Coats: Gone But Not Forgotten!

 Now we've gone and done it.
Many thought it would never happen, but AbbyShot really did remove ALL Matrix coat designs on December 31, 2008. It shook up the world, with orders coming in right up to the last second!
The beginning of January led to many incredulous e-mails (mostly using the word "WHAT?!?!") from people not aware of the big changes on the AbbyShot website. "Where did the Matrix coats go?" many asked us.
We've been understanding, so for those e-mailing us directly to inquire about Matrix coats we've usually been able to work something out. It's January, we're still filling Matrix orders, we still might be able to make a last Matrix coat for you.
Just send us an e-mail with the specific Matrix design you're interested in and we'll get back to you soon on the possibilities! |

 The year 2009 has arrived and the old saying remains true: " Out with the old and in with the new!" We're doing our big New Year's cleanup and of course there are a few sample items and 2nds in our closet that we can offer you at great prices! FOXHOUND Coat is Getting Closer!

The Christmas season was SUPER busy here at AbbyShot so while we don't have a full-scale Foxhound update for you this month, we do have some interesting progress we can tease you with!
As always, we took the fan feedback on our blog very seriously and we are currently perfecting all the design changes that you, the fans, have requested. Pictured is a quick look at how we're going about one of the changes requested: the collar. Slight modifications were requested to the design of the collar itself and the lapels, so our Design Team made a new sample collar in black fabric to test everything out.
We're SO happy with the progress, and with the great feedback we're receiving. Here's a perfect example - this is a comment on our FOXHOUND prototype coat:
"that looks real good already!!
ive wanted one of them since metal gear solid came out, what, ten years ago?
please keep this project going abbyshot, it looks baddass."
We will DEFINITELY keep this going my friend! We can almost see the finish line ;)

AbbyShot Photo Contest! |
We want to start the new year off with something fun for you, so we've decided to hold the mother of all AbbyShot photo contests! This time, we're asking you:
Where's the coolest place in the world to wear an AbbyShot garment?
A picture speaks a thousand words (of course), so your answer must come in photo form!
We've had many awesome photo locales over the years: a Firefly Browncoat in the Nevada desert, Stampede Dusters by the sea in Norway, even a GIG Shrug and a Lobby Reloaded in Tokyo (courtesy of two AbbyShot employees above who can't win the contest ;)
YOU get to submit your best picture, we'll compile the top picks on our blog, and you'll get to vote for the best of the best! The all-time winner will net themselves a 100% FREE Kingdom Hoodie and an AbbyShot T-Shirt!
We'll give you a bit of time for this project in case you have an AWESOME idea in mind: we'll need your photo submissions by February 28, 2009! Voting will then happen in March.
There are 2 very easy ways to submit your pictures (pick the best one for you):
1. E-mail your photo as an attachment to "info@abbyshot.com", or
2. Add "AbbyShot Clothiers" as a friend on Facebook and tag us in your photo of choice!
Just be sure to tell us it's for the "Photo Contest 2009". If you sent us a photo previously that you think would be perfect for the contest, please send it again. Make it cool, make it creative, but most of all, make it fun :)

Fresh Ideas for '09!

We're always looking for suggestions for future AbbyShot products, and with a new year  stretched out in front of us, what better time to let us know what you think we should create!
There's a lot of great ideas in our Inbox lately, including:

If you like any of the ideas above (or if you have any that aren't even on this list!) then be sure to let your voice be heard on our Suggestions Page!
We review our Suggestions regularly and keep a close eye on what getting the most buzz, so if you REALLY want us to make a certain character's coat (or jacket, or hoodie) - then spread the word! The more feedback we get, the more likely we are to take that project on ;)

AbbyShot received some great New Years presents over our holidays: awesome pictures and e-mails came rolling in from happy customers all over the world. We've got Matrix coat customers in Sweden, Ireland, and the UK then, for a change of pace, we've got a very satisfied Enigma customer from our last Closet Sale (just in time to promote our NEW Closet Sale, what a coincidence! ;) There's lots to see, so be sure to check it out!
