AbbyShot Newsletter - January 17, 2003
===============================================

Welcome to the latest AbbyShot Newsletter. It's been a long time since our last one, not because of any lack of news, but because we've been so incredibly busy that this is our first chance to send one out! The Christmas season was an extremely hectic time for us, but it also gave us a chance to test ourselves as well. Despite the increase in our workloads, we were still able to work on some new things as well. Read on and see what's happening at AbbyShot.

New Staff Hired
===============
We've grown to better handle the ever-increasing business that is coming our way as more and more people discover us. We've hired more production staff and another Pattern Drafter / Clothing Designer, which means that not only has our ability to fill orders improved, but the rate of new product releases will increase too. We're maintaining our employment policy of growing to meet the customer demand.

New Web Site Unveiled
=====================
A new year and a new look. This week we uploaded our new web site. While the overall structure hasn't changed much, the appearance is definitely refreshed. Already, we've begun to receive positive feedback from site visitors who like the change. The only major change in the layout of the site is that we're now listing our more popular products on our main page as well as within the main product listings page. There are a few other little changes, and several small tweaks that no doubt will come up over the next couple of weeks, but the major changes are complete. Tell us what you think of our new look. Do you like the new logo? Is our new style better or worse? What about the character art on the side? Your opinions are important and are always taken into consideration.

New Outerwear Fabrics Being Tested
================================
Many of you have been requesting that we offer the Lobby and the Lobby Reloaded trenchcoats in an alternate outerwear fabric that is water resistant. Since you want it, we're going to do our best to offer it. We are currently testing two candidates for an outerwear fabric. We're making sample coats with the two fabrics, and based upon their performance in testing we'll be selecting one of them to offer. We'll keep you updated as this project develops.

Sunstalker Trenchcoat
=====================
Many of you have been emailing us over the past couple of months encouraging us to continue working on the Sunstalker Trenchcoat, urging us on to finish it as soon as possible. Well, all your hard work has paid off! You'll be pleased to know that we have finished the design work on both the Sunstalker and the Sunstalker II trenchcoats. The prototypes are completed and we expect to have pictures of them taken and have them available for purchase from our web site next week.

Black Stampede Duster
=====================
In response to those who requested a black version of the Stampede Duster, we have sourced an appropriate black fabric, made a test sample duster (it looks very cool! :-) and will be releasing the Black Stampede Duster next week. The price will be the same as the red version.

Mentor Reloaded In The Works
============================
Great news for Reloaded fans! We've designed and completed the patterns for a Mentor Reloaded trenchcoat that incorporates all the differences between it and the original Mentor design as seen in the preview images for the film inspiration. We anticipate a release date of before the end of January.

Well, this ends another AbbyShot newsletter. Our next one is scheduled for early February. Now I'm off to the digital camera to work on some new photos for our web site! :-)

Enjoy!
