 Our entire country of Canada is caught up in Olympic fever and, even though we're on the other side of the country from Vancouver, AbbyShot can't help but get into the spirit of the Games.
Whether we're watching hockey games, curling matches, or folks going down an icy hill in a go-cart on skates (I think some call it bobsledding?), we're always cheering on our home country of Canada to win the gold.

AbbyShot Wins Canadian Innovation Award!

Everyone here at AbbyShot is so proud to share this news with you:
AbbyShot has been awarded the title of Canadian SME Innovator of the Year.
This honour was given to us at the 2010 Canadian  Innovation Awards in Ottawa from the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters. The awards committee was particularly impressed with our "exemplary customer service" and we have to say - it's only due to exemplary customers like yourselves.
Thanks so much for all your support over the years. We are truly sharing this award with YOU. Speaking of sharing, the CME sent a camera crew to AbbyShot headquarters last month to grab some shots of our team at work and this video is now available on the CME Innovation Awards Website as well.

Can't Stop The Signal... Or AbbyShot, For That Matter

The Signal has made its way all over the 'Verse - have you heard it yet? We're not talking about a rogue transmission off the planet Miranda, we're talking about the shiniest podcast on the 'net!  As we reported last month, Firefly / Serenity themed podcast The Signal interviewed AbbyShot team member Mark and that episode is now up on their website. Mark chatted with hosts Les and Kari about everything from licensed Browncoats (of course), to an exclusive NEW product announcement, to why Nathan Fillion needs to appear on Doctor Who.  Regular readers may remember a story from our April '09 newsletter about a promising new fan film set in the Serenity / Firefly 'Verse. Well, it seems to be coming together QUITE well judging by the newest trailer that just hit the 'net! You'll see a bit of the post-Miranda story (with the Alliance cracking down big-time on Browncoats), you'll see some great acting and a few fistfights (of course!), you'll see some straight-outta-Firefly spaceship effects (uber-shiny panning and zooms), and you might even see an AbbyShot Browncoat! ;) It looks like a wonderful piece of Firefly / Serenity fandom and, best of all, it's all being done for charity.  To tie things up nicely, our customer photos this month tie right back in with our top story - the sweeping invasion of the Officially Licensed products!
