The Silent Bob coat gets even better!

Check out the greener, softer new wool!

We have upgraded the quality of the Silent Bob Wool, both the black and the green. We had been experiencing a shortage of our regular wool used in the Silent Bob coat. This became so serious that we even ended up switching suppliers and introducing a new wool fabric.

This new wool is actually of a much higher degree of screen accuracy and fibre quality than our previous wool. As you can immediately see, while the old wool was nice, the new one has a richer colour and has a softer texture. We're happy to be able to provide you with this fabulous new wool for the same original price!

A sample garment is ready!

While this is NOT the intended production fabric, it does show the look of the Serenity Browncoat design.

The Serenity Browncoat "first draft" sample coat is made! This is the prototype that we are using to test the construction details of this garment pattern. The sample coat is made in a low cost fabric for testing purposes only prior to sewing a finished version in the suede leather.

From this sample coat we will make observations on the ease of construction and note any design adjustments that need to be made. Already, we're taking notes on further refinements and adjustments to our existing design that will make it even more screen accurate. Presenting this garment sample to the public is an open invitation for critical review from the fans. What do you think?

We're very happy to announce that our replacement "Flerkin' Fleece" has arrived and it is significantly better than the original material! This new fleece is pre-washed so we know with 100% certainty that the fabric flaw of the original fleece won't occur this time! (it's not paranoia when you're right!) :-) Additionally, this new fleece has a softer texture and is also more durable, thus ensuring that the garment won't lose its shape due to regular wear. Overall, we're quite pleased with this new fabric and consider it to be of a greatly superior quality than the original fleece fabric.

The Kingdom Hoodie is back and better than ever!

As the picture shows, we've begun making the Kingdom Hoodies and our Production Manager estimates that all the older, backlogged Hoodie orders will be on their way to their owners by the end of February or the end of the first week in March at the latest. We're especially eager to hear back from our customers on this new fabric, and so we encourage everyone who has ordered a Kingdom Hoodie to let us know what you think of them once they arrive! For those who have yet to place their Kingdom Hoodie orders, you can now place your orders with confidence now that the proper fabric has been sourced and there is no risk of there being any flaws in the fleece. Individuals wanting free samples of the new fleece can contact us and we'll happily send them out.

The Big Snap Rules All!

Big snaps for that Anime Accurate look!

After months of promising, we're finally delivering! The shipment of one inch diameter* snaps is on it's way. Once they arrive we'll be making them an option on the Stampede Duster and Leather Stampede Duster page. We expect to be offering them in late February / early March. These oversize snaps were introduced at the request of our customers who were wanting a more "anime-style" snap for their Stampede Dusters than our regular 5/8" snaps.

Unfortunately, due to difficulties in sending snaps reliably through the mail, (We have previously had customers receive empty torn envelopes...), we will not be offering free samples of these large-format snaps. However the picture on the side here accurately shows a large snap in comparison to the smaller, standard snap size. We will also be continuing to offer the regular sized snaps for those who aren't seeking the "Big Snap Experience"! :-)

Big Plans For The Big Event!

Everyone here is getting excited about AbbyShot's big Summer event! We've begun planning AbbyCON 2005 already and it looks like it's going to be a fantastic time for all involved! AbbyCON 2004 was a success and we're looking to make this year's AbbyCON even bigger and better! We're tentitively scheduling it for the end of July. There's going to be special events planned over a three day schedule. There'll be events at AbbyShot headquarters as well as events taking place around our beautiful province! We're still finalizing what we will be offering, so there's no concrete details just yet. One thing that we are working on is being able to offer pre-arranged deals for accomodations and transportation from event to event. As things are better known, we'll be announcing specific known events and pricing. This is just an official advance notice that we are planning an AbbyCON 2005 and that it's shaping up to be an exciting and fun-filled three days!
