Our production staff will be on a much-deserved Christmas break between December 24th and January 2nd. Everyone has worked really hard this year and we feel it shows in the great improvements we've been bringing to everyone in the form of faster order turnaround times, new products and friendly customer service. While we spend some quality time with our families over the holiday season, the web site and order forms will still be operating and we'll reply to all your emails when we return!

Blog a Success!

Thank for the comments!

Leather Squall Jacket The Leather Squall Jacket

Everyone has really responded well to our new blog. It is proving to be a great new easy way to present news and receive your comments on it. We're happy to say that people are checking it out and we're getting lots of great feedback from everyone! We love to read your comments on our blog posts, we want this new tool to be about what you want to see from AbbyShot.

Motoko Leather Shrug The Motoko Leather Shrug

The last few posts on our blog have mostly been about new products, first news on the upcoming Leather Squall Jacket, and then updated pictures on the Motoko Leather Shrug. Both of those blog topics have generated some excellent and insightful comments that are greatly helping us to make these two products even more screen-accurate. We encourage everyone to send us their opinions and viewpoints as we continue to refine these two designs.

Sephiroth prototype Sephiroth prototype

The latest use of our blog is to "test the waters" on a possible new AbbyShot product. This isn't as certain as an official "Coming Soon" product. It's more of a "tell us if we should do this" type of deal. This time, we're coming to you for your opinion on whether we should make a Sephiroth Trench - Hold on, we know that a LOT of people want it, that's not our question. There's a catch, would you want it without the shoulder armor? Check out the Sephiroth Trench Blog Post and see a couple of pictures of the prototype trench without any shoulder armor. Let us know what you think!

Send us your ideas on how we can continue to improve our blog. What kind of content would you like to see there? Speaking of improving the blog, we have made one change on a trial basis to see if it is a benefit to everyone: Now your comments will appear right away after you post them. This change should make it easier for you to comment back and forth on our blog posts.

Supplies Limiteed!

Order your size before it's too late!

picture Mad Max Jacket is moving fast! Buy Now!

We knew that the Kingdom Hoodies and the Mad Max Jackets had become hot items, doubly so when we announced that we had them in stock for immediate delivery. To prove this point, orders over the last few weeks have cleaned us out of "XL" and "2XL" Kingdom Hoodies and the Mad Max Jacket just ran out of sizes 46 and 48 as well! This really tells us that these two items are very popular right now!

picture Now might be a good time to buy a Kingdom Hoodie... Buy Now!

If you're considering picking up either of them, you may not want to wait any longer. We've temporarily removed the out of stock sizes from the web site and will remove other sizes as we run out of them. In the meantime, if the size you want is still available, place your order now!

By the way, this might be a good time to repeat our request from our last newsletter issue. If you have any ideas for any other hoodie designs, please send your ideas to us and we'll consider them as potential future AbbyShot products. Your ideas can be from movies, anime shows, comic books, computer games, or even your own imagination. Ideas that are of hoodie designs or (like was the case with the Kingdom Hoodie) are hoodie versions of a different garment are welcome!

Building a Better Newsletter!

Help Us Choose a New Tool

This time we're coming to you with an idea on one of our services: this newsletter, and we want to know your opinion on an idea we had. We're looking at ways to streamline the production of our newsletters, while also offering more features. Currently each issue is handcoded which is a time-consuming process. One program that's been suggested to us is ConstantContact. Does anyone out there have any experience with it? Can you recommend a better platform for generating newsletters? We're also looking at sending the newsletters themselves within your email instead of simply providing a link to our site in the newsletter announcement email. Would you prefer it sent this way? Tell us what you think of this alternate way of sending our newsletter!

Preview of 2007!

Advance notice of some of our plans

What is AbbyShot thinking of for their long term plans? Do you want to know? Here are some insights into four areas of growth that we're developing. As always, your feedback is invaluable. We're building this company with you and for you - be involved!

mystery web page What will the new site look like?

We're developing an updated web site. This will be a new and improved look for AbbyShot that will be unveiled in 2007. No previews are available yet, but it will feature a much more streamlined customer experience. Ordering will be easier, products will be displayed more uniformly and with a faster to use and easier to understand presentation style, and there will be a more prominent focus on the customer with features such as customer pictures and comments on various pages, more ways to interact with us and each other spread throughout the site, and more. We are also going to be having a major professional photoshoot for all of our products. Yes, all of our products. When we said "new look", we weren't kidding!

We want this to be a site that you will want to use, that allows you to interact with our products and gain some of that excitement we see when we attend conventions or read your thank you emails after you receive your garments! We're still in the designing stages, so feel free to send us your ideas on what you'd like to see in the new AbbyShot web site.

empty clothing rack What products are next?

2007 will see a lot of new products being released. 2006 saw AbbyShot expanding their range of products to include styles and types of garments not offered by us before. This trend will continue with new products like the Motoko Leather Shrug, Leather Squall Jacket, Deckard Trench V2 and several others yet to be announced!

We're not forgetting about trenchcoats though, and in amongst all the new women's styles, short jackets, accessories and other items, there will still be new trenchcoat designs being released. We're committed to continuing to lead the way in producing screen-accurate clothing for fans worldwide! As always, we love to hear from you on what new designs you would like to see, so let us know!

We just love to meet our customers personally. We go the extra mile online to make our customer service as friendly and personable as possible, but at the same time, there's no comparison to face-to-face interaction. We are seriously looking at what conventions are out there and will be adding more to our list of planned attendences. If you know of a convention that you think we should attend, then let us know!

mystery product First Reykjavik, then the world!

We were very pleased with the results of our recent Trade Mission to Iceland, and we were excited by the potential opportunities that this opened for us. If you're in Reykjavik, Iceland then visit Spaksmannsspjarir, the exclusive high-end boutique that is the only business in Iceland that carries our Kill Bill Jackets! We will be creating commercial partnerships in other countries over time.

This will mean that as we attend more and more trade missions, we will be setting up a network of retail locations that are carrying AbbyShot products. We are being careful about which partnerships we form. We wil not be placing our products in any store, we will be ensuring that any physical locations are a good match for our online presence. Where should we go for our next Trade Mission? Do you have a place that you feel we should be in? let us know!

We'd love to hear from you!   Let us know what you think!   See you next issue!
