No Summer Conventions For AbbyShot
As long-time Newsletter readers already know, August is normally the time when we plug our summer convention plans. This year we have some unfortunate news to report:

AbbyShot will not be attending any conventions in the summer of 2008.
The costs of travel from our location in Eastern Canada have skyrocketed over the past year, and this tough decision had to be made.

We're very sad that we're going to miss both Dragon*Con in Atlanta and Fan Expo in Toronto because we had SO much fun at both cons last year. There's always next year. If you're attending either con, make sure you e-mail us to let us know how it went! You're guaranteed to make us jealous ;-)

The good news is that you can still order a whole range of AbbyShot gear to have in time for these two conventions! We've got the full in-stock list and the VERY important order deadlines on our blog!

There's nothing better than wearing a quality AbbyShot coat at a convention, so be sure to reserve yours now!

Jenova and Enigma Prices Stand Firm at $299!
Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts fans (along with fans of awesome gothic coats!) will be happy to know that the special sale price of the Jenova and Enigma trench coats is staying put!

That's right, due to popular demand the prices are SET:

Our new production runs of BOTH designs will be here in the next few weeks, but be aware that sizes are limited! Place your order now to reserve your size of the Enigma or the Jenova Trench... or both!

What We Did On Our Summer Vacation!
Brian Wiser with Julia and Amy of AbbyShot!
AbbyShot was visited by one of the biggest Firefly fans in the 'Verse during our summer holidays: Brian Wiser, one of the minds behind the Browncoat fan documentary "Done The Impossible", came to visit us in beautiful Newfoundland, Canada (also known as "The Rock" for its rugged scenery).

Sure, the weather was rough at times (a bit of that North Atlantic fog rolled in!) but the fun we had outweighed even the gloomiest Newfoundland weather! In Brian's own words:

"Visiting Newfoundland and my friends from AbbyShot gave me experiences that I'll always treasure. Touring lighthouses and historic towns, along with fishing, whale watching and boat rides, were among the highlights.  Newfoundlanders embrace nature and life in a way that's very special and charming, and no doubt serves as an inspiration in their lives."

We're proud to have Brian as a member of our AbbyShot family.

We hope all of our readers are having just as much fun this summer!
