Can't Stop The Serenity Fundraiser a success! In July, AbbyShot contributed to the Seattle "Can't Stop The Serenity" charity fundraiser. This event was organized by fans to both celebrate their love of Firefly/Serenity and raise money for the Equality Now charity. While we weren't able to attend, we did donate a Zoe Vest to their charity auction.
The event organizers raised $5485.00 USD for Equality Now and we were proud to be able to assist in their noble efforts! We heard from the fan who won the auction item that included our Zoe Vest and she was thrilled to own it! We were also sent a picture of the event organizers in front of their official banner listing all the groups and companies who contributed to their success. Great job everyone! |

Pill Jacket Coming Soon!
 Fans of the classic anime film Akira finally have their dream coat becoming a reality. AbbyShot has begun development of the famous Pill Jacket as worn by Kaneda. The first pictures of the "version one" prototype were released to the AbbyShot blog on August 2nd and many fans responded with comments, questions, and excitement! Do YOU Want a Foxhound Trench?
 Game series "Metal Gear Solid" is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and recent announcements have been working fans into a frenzy! Between previews of "Metal Gear Solid 4", details about "Metal Gear Online" for PS3 next year, AND rumours of a possible Hollywood live action movie, there's almost too much excitement to handle. Of course, the news reminds us once again that there has been a strong connection betweeen MGS fans and AbbyShot.
The trenchcoat worn by Solid Snake and various other members of the FOXHOUND organization is a very cool design and has been a regular suggestion for two years now. So, we're now coming to you to ask, if AbbyShot were to release an officially licensed Foxhound Trench this Fall, would you buy it? Let us know! |

AbbyShot attending FanExpo and DragonCon this August!
It's official: this month AbbyShot will be attending TWO major fan conventions! The first is "Fan Expo" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada from August 24th to the 26th. We'll be at booth #740. This is our first time attending this MASSIVE Canadian con and we couldn't be more excited! They're expecting over 50,000 people this year, but we're Newfoundlanders so you're guaranteed to find us in the crowd (we'll be the ones having the best time)!
The second is, of course, Dragon*Con in Atlanta, Georgia, USA from August 31st to September 3rd. We'll be in the Hilton Grand Salon, booth #1211. Dragon*Con is a regular event for us and we can't wait to meet up with old friends and certainly make a few new ones! Last year we sang karaoke, played the spoons at a Browncoat shindig, and just had an excellent time all around!
If you're in either city on those dates, why not stop by? We'll have many of our regular items available for sale, a couple of surprise announcements just for the conventions, and, as always, friendly AbbyShot staff on hand to meet you.
