First Dante Coats (and Gloves!) Preparing for Battle
|  Are you one of the first? A chosen few were brave enough to jump into the very first batch of AbbyShot Dante Coats (which will be shipping out soon!). In other news, Secret Compass Collectibles attended StarFest in Denver the week-end before last. They told us that it was a busy convention with plenty of cool cosplay, including a few coatless Malcolm Reynolds and some Eleventh Doctors with hand-me-down jackets. Hmm... we think Secret Compass knows where to go for these clothing opportunities: Looks like a job for AbbyShot! ;)

| AbbyShot Meets the Local Sci-Fi Scene at Sci-Fi on the Rock 5! |
The Internet is a wonderful thing, but sometimes it's great to get out there and meet fans face to face (and of course show off some cool coats!). Conventions allow us to do just that, and our local sci-fi convention, held in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, was particularly fun this year! Called "Sci-Fi on the Rock", this growing sci-fi and fantasy convention brings us closer to fans in our local area and remind us that: Yes, it is awesome to try on an AbbyShot coat! It's how we know we're doing our jobs here ;)
This year's con highlights included: Klingon Bling, Do-It-Yourself Wolverine claws, a first encounter with R2D2, and the Galactic Empire defending our Dante Coat. You can see much more "Sci-Fi on the Rock" goodness from the AbbyShot Team in two places:

With the premiere of Doctor Who Series 6 this month, we thought it only fitting to showcase one of our favourite fan sites celebrating this sci-fi classic. And it's Canadian to boot!
 The Doctor Who Information Network (or DWIN for short) is based out of Toronto and is a great resource for both die-hard fans as well as anyone thinking "What is this Doctor Who show I keep hearing about?" The site features easy-to-follow background on Doctor Who, weekly episode reviews, FAQs, cast and crew news, and more. For any aspiring Time Lord, it's well worth plugging into this network:

| Customer E-mails: April 2011 Edition |  With the news of our soon-to-be restocked Tenth Doctor's Coats (now available for pre-order), we thought we would also make them our focus for April's Customer Emails Blog Post. As we (hopefully) bring winter to a close here in Canada and say goodbye to snow (nay, a Sycorax spaceship breaking up ;), we thought it would be a great tribute to share with you some of the comments from two of our fans who see the value in their coats to keep them warm in any weather!
I couldn't have been more pleased with this purchase and I would recommend this fine piece of art to any Doctor Who fan. This is THE coat to own if you love one certain time-traveling Timelord as much as I do! Tell Janis Joplin I said thank you! Bravo AbbyShot, bravo!
