Yes! It's a hoodie based on the one and only Jayne (and his awesome hat) from Firefly!
It's
a great-looking red sweater - then put up the hood and you're showing off your inner Browncoat! The pom-pom isn't pictured but IS intended to be added to the top of the hood. :-)
 So now the questions are: what do you think of this prototype? Any changes to be made? Would you buy it for a price range of between $60-90 CAD? We need all the feedback we can get to decide if and when this should become a new AbbyShot product!

AbbyShot Gets Blogged - Sci-Fi Style!
A popular AbbyShot Jacket was in good company in a recent article from a very classy Sci-Fi Blog. The Blog is called "io9" (Strung Out On Science Fiction) and the article had the VERY descriptive title:
Scifi Clothing You Can Wear on the Street Without Fear of Reprisals
The writers give you an entire sci-fi influenced outfit from the shoes up: Alien Invasion Themed Converse All-Stars, Robot Socks, even iPod Lederhosen (I mean, who doesn't like lederhosen?!?). And look what they've chosen as outerwear: it's our X-Men inspired Vereen Jacket!
These guys and gals have good taste obviously :-)
We ESPECIALLY enjoy this article because it confirms what we've always known: we make sci-fi inspired clothing that really can and does get worn every day! Are there any other cool blogs on the 'net that you think we should have on our radar?

Great Gift from a Road Warrior Actor!
Remember the article we posted up back in May 2007 about one customer's AMAZING Mad Max road trip? Canadian AbbyShot fan Doug McQuillin took a grand tour of many ACTUAL Mad Max filming locations and even got to meet one of the actors from Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior!
Fast forward to April 2008. We just received a package in the mail that was admittedly a bit strange. It was... boomerang shaped. We opened it (very intrigued) and it turns out it was a signed boomerang from the aforementioned Road Warrior actor: Emil Minty! What a gentleman.
So now we have a boomerang from the "Feral Kid"! How cool is that? I think it's time to go outside for a game of catch... hopefully no one loses any fingers! Nah... maybe we'll just watch the Road Warrior again instead :-)
Big thanks to both Doug and Emil, they made our month extra-special!
