Three Days Left!

Last month we announced the addition of The Vault to our web site and notified everyone that there were several products due to enter it on May 4th. We are still on schedule to do this and now is your last opportunity to get those products while they are still regularly offered items. These products won't be completely unavailable, but they will cost considerably more to produce. The Reviews Are In!

The first few Malice Mizer coats have been received by customers, and the positive comments are pouring in! It seems like this design is a real hit with those who appreciate the smoothly flowing lines of the design and active drape of the fabric. Two Malice Mizer customers, Endless Void and Requiascat even went so far as to send us pictures (displayed to the left of the screen) and wore full reviews of their impressions. We're including their comments below.

Endless Void's Review

It's awesome. The fabric drapes and flows nicely, fits exactly as I had hoped it to, and is generally an undeniably black sexiness.

... And that was just the T-shirt.

As for the coat... Let's just say it's a good thing I didn't have to undo 30 buttons this time with my shaking hands of spazzy anticipation. There were 6.

The billow on it is just amazing, and the buttons photograph perfectly. I wonder how you guys do it, sometimes. Then I remember that you're very, very good at what you do. I'm thinking of getting a second one already (silver lining/buttons).

Requiascat's Review

This coat is absolutely amazing!!! I thought I fudged the measurements, and I did have to re-submit some measurments before production started, and I kinda got worried... Silly me... you'd think I wouldn't get nervous considering my extended stint here on the forums, and being a long time AbbyShot customer...

The fit is perfect! It fits exactly the way Klaha's fits in the BoB video. From the length of the sleeves, to the tapering waist, to the way the skirt falls ever so slightly so as to bell gracefully (not bulky) about my legs, the dramatic point of the shoulders, giving clean sophisticated lines to the entire design making this one absolutely sexy coat....... GWAH!!!!

The Malice Mizer fabric: I never even ordered a fabric sample. I trusted AbbyShot's judgment on choosing the right fabric, and they exceeded my high expectations for this design. The fabric is soft, high-quality, stretchy in all the right ways and looks like a million bucks... Smashing you guys... Simply smashing!

The lining: The satin lining is everything you'd expect Satin to be... Silky, sexy, shiny, smooth, and gorgeous... Again, the look of this coat defines marvelous, and sets the new standard of sophisticated.

Now might also be a good time to point out how much I adore the new inner pocket design. It looks classy, and is functional to boot. The button and loop closure is awesome, and adds that certain "high life" feel and look to the garment.

In conclusion, this is the absolute defintion of sexy. The way the coat "moves" when I walk, or turn suddenly... The way it hangs, and billows... If just flows like liquid silk, forming it's own beautiful shapes as it cuts a swathe through everything drab, making a statement of class, quality, fashion, and casual sophistication all whilst turning heads, and drawing compliments.

If anyone out there is thinking of buying this coat, but has any apprehension at all... Hesitate no longer. The sheer luxury, quality, and feel of this coat is worth more than what I paid, and definately worth the time it took to make.

Better Bespoke Beading

We've gone back to the drawing board and improved our product yet again. As usual, we're not charging you for this, the beaded necklace price remains the same for our Kingdom Hoodie, Enigma and Enigma Custom. The changes we're introducing to the beaded necklace greatly improve the look and feel of it, making it more attractive as well as more screen accurate. Take a look at the picture to see a complete view of what it looks like!

We've added several sections of real chain to the necklace and improved the overall joining methods throughout the length of the necklace. If you already own a Kingdom Hoodie, Enigma or Enigma Custom and would like to get the improved necklace, you can order it separately by contacting us.

The Goods Are Out There!

Early on in April we released both the Rocketeer and Jet Jackets. Rocketeer fans were very pleased with the quality of our jackets and our attention to detail. Even our streamlined version has received a lot of attention from fans who are impressed with the AbbyShot approach to garment quality. So far, we're receiving almost as many Jet Jacket orders as Rocketeer! In addition to the movie buffs, we're also drawing attention from small plane pilots, motorcyclists, and general appreciaters of the fashion of this jacket.

It is still too early to tell what the long term response will be, (these two designs aren't even a full month old yet), but if preliminary responses are any indication we may end up calling 2006 the "Year of The Rocketeer"! :-) We told everyone to prepare for the release of this design, and we weren't kidding! There's still opportunities to place your order, but as time goes on, we will continue to get busier and busier...

There's No Time Limit For Appreciation!

We often receive emails from our customers praising us for the quality of our garments. (we received several today in fact) It seems that when people recieve their AbbyShot clothing they are extremely happy and feel compelled to share this with us. We're very appreciative of this and feel honoured that people will want to write us like this. We know that this isn't ordinary customer behaviour and we consider this to be just another sign that AbbyShot customers are a cut above the rest!

Usually such letters arrive shortly after the customer receives their garment (such was the case with both Endless Void's and Requiascat's Malice Mizer reviews elsewhere in this issue). However, recently we received a letter from a customer a year and a half after they received their trenchcoat! It's one thing to want to write us when you're freshly excited about your new purchase, but it's even more impressive when you love your garment 18 months later and still want to tell us about it! Good day Abbyshot team!

Maybe you remember me, Stefan D from Germany, I bought my Lobby trench back in October 2004...

Well, I just wanted to say that I've been proudly wearing it now for 1+ years and it kept me plenty warm in the winter :)

I get a lot of looks when I wear it and especially little kids are fascinated, I've heard them say things like "hey daddy look, that man, what he's wearing, cooool" or "look it's Neo"! hehehe

I'm still lovin the coat MUCH and I must say again, the quality of the fabric and most of all the quality of how it was made is just outstanding, it still looks like it did on day one! :D

It takes some time to see the true quality of things, I'm usually the type of person that makes it hard for clothing, at most after a month you can tell wear marks, (eg: a thread coming undone or something), so that's why I was so amazed about the garment still being in mint condition and is one reason I wanted to write you again to let you know. This shows that you truly know your sh*t, to say it bluntly ;)

I attached a picture I took today to show you how much I'm still lovin it, it was really hard to keep a serious face! hehe

New X-Small size for Kingdom Hoodie

The same great design, but now in more sizes! Back in January, we released XXL Kingdom Hoodies sizes, and that was so popular that we're now further expanding the sizing range at the other end to include an X-Small for people with a 30 inch chest size.

When the XXL was announced we mentioned that it was great for people who like a looser fit. Since then we have been contacted by people who prefer a tighter fit too. People who ordinarily might be expected to wear our small wanted something more form-fitting, so the X-Small is for you too!
